University Mental Health Day 2026: join us for events on campus!


takes place each March and is organised by Student Minds and the University Mental Health Advisers Network. The theme this year is human connection, and is all about bringing people together to build a strong sense of community.

Events to bring people together

We’re hosting a series of free events on campus throughout the day you can take part in with other students!

Campus Centre Atrium: 11am-2pm

  • Wellbeing stands, with information about support available
  • DSU student opportunities stand and Lego Workshop
  • Money advice stand
  • Seed Sowing
  • Games area including Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and bean bag seating area
  • Cookie Decorating

There will also be a Creativity for Wellbeing session with Chris Wright in the Greenhouse 0.06 2-5pm

You can also join us for board games and pizza in the breathing space between 4-6 (spaces may be limited)

¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· Active are running a number of free activities in the Watershed studio, Watershed sports hall and Nelson Mandela Park, these are great for movement, physical and mental health and connection – play with a friend or make new ones!
