The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is live

Take 15 minutes to leave feedback and let us know what you think of your postgrad experience at ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·.

The PTES is a survey which gathers insights from postgraduate students on their teaching and learning experience.

It’s supported by AdvanceHE and more than 120 UK universities are involved. Its results are also used to guide national policy and develop the postgraduate experience across the higher education sector.

The PTES only takes around 15 minutes to complete and includes the following topics:

  • Teaching and learning
  • Assessment and feedback
  • Dissertation or final project
  • Organisation and management
  • Learning resources
  • Skills and personal development
  • Overall satisfaction
  • Students’ motivations for taking their course

Please take the time to complete the survey and share your views about your postgrad experience at ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ·. Your feedback is important to us and can make a real difference.

All postgraduate students should have received an email with a link to complete the survey. Alternatively, – you will need to enter your 6/7 digit Student Number.

The deadline is Monday 4 May 2026. All data is held anonymously.
