¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· played a leading role during 2024 in providing education and outreach to policy makers and lawmakers, according to an annual report published today. The SDG 16 Global Academic Hub Report 2024 was presented by Dr Mark Charlton to show the impact made by ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· in its work with the United Nations.

More than 90 arts and heritage events and festivals were staged at ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· during 2024 – with virtually all open to the general public and free of charge.

¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· has reported a busy year during 2024 in working with governments at a local, regional, national and even international level. Expert advice has been offered in everything from hate crime to city centre economics and from cyber skills in education to plastic waste in Africa.

¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· is actively working with organisations around the world planning for climate change disasters and ways of mitigating their affects – working internationally with the United Nations and locally and regionally with local authorities, businesses, the voluntary sectors and education sectors.
